Wedding planning by Tropical Moon Events

Savannah and Ben have been such a dream to work with. We photographed their engagement session (promise we’ll blog that soon) and also had the absolute honor of documenting their wedding day. They planned their destination wedding in Hawaii all the way from Kansas City and chose the iconic Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch.

We photographed Savannah and Ben getting ready at The Alohilani Resort and then headed to Paliku Gardens to do bridal party photos. They wanted to save first look for their ceremony and it was very sweet. They had the most beautiful ceremony led by one of our favorite officiants. After ceremony we photographed their family and then their wedding party. We all headed to cocktail hour to capture them mingling with guests and photographed reception details. We also love extended cocktail hour because it gives everyone time to say hi and also gives us a chance to photograph guests. After their grand entrance we snuck away for some bride and groom photos and headed back to the party.
