OAHU PROPOSAL PHOTOGRAPHER | MIKHAIL + CORTNEY | HALEIWA, OAHU

We had such a blast shooting Mikhail and Cortney's proposal! They've been together for over seven years so Mikhail could not wait to make Cortney his fiancé! Mikhail emailed me about two weeks before their trip to Oahu so we've been planning out this proposal for awhile. For their session, we dreamed up this great concept of a romantic picnic on the beach with chocolate covered strawberries and toasts to end the night! We even set up a bunch of candles once the sun went down and a blanket for them to get cuddle and get cozy under the stars.

We told Mikhail to convince Cortney they had dinner reservations at Turtle Bay in the evening and  they showed up early to watch the sunset. They strolled along the beach headed towards our picnic set up and we remained hidden waiting for their big moment to happen. Cortney had NO IDEA what was about to happen!

Mikhail got on one knee when he felt the time was right and we photographed the excitement and happy tears :) Cortney of of course said YES! Shortly after Mikhail pointed us out and we gave them the biggest hugs! We toasted to them and photographed their engagement session right after.
